Paint Maui Plein Air Invitational 2026

Celebrating Art, Nature, and Community in Lahaina

This year’s Plein Air Invitational gathers 20 exceptional artists from Hawai‘i and across the mainland to paint Maui’s breathtaking landscapes in the open air. Throughout the week, visitors can watch these artists in action as they capture the island’s light, color, and spirit in real time.

Enjoy three public painting demonstrations, where residents and guests are invited to experience the creative process firsthand and connect with artists as they bring their visions to life.

The event culminates with the Awards Presentation and Grand Art Sale at Village Gallery Lahaina, where the finished works will be on display and available for purchase.

A portion of event proceeds supports the Lahaina Restoration Foundation, helping to preserve and rebuild the historic and cultural sites that make Lahaina a place of enduring beauty and meaning.
